Lettering at its strongest and most truthful finds an accord between words, material, physical form, letter forms and the skill of the maker. I aim for this harmony in everything I do. I have designed and carved letters for public and private commissions throughout the British Isles, including Scarborough’s South Cliff statues and the Stamford Poetry stone, and exhibited work with the Lettering Arts Trust and the Scottish Letter Cutters Association.
If you would like to commission a piece or discuss a project please get in touch. I would love to hear from you.

‘I was entranced by Beatrice’s work and asked her about creating something for my garden. We agreed on words, stone, cost and timetable, and in time a beautiful goose stone arrived and was installed. It was an incredibly easy process and I really love this unique stone and what it means.’
